Voters Guide For November 7, 2023 Election

November 5, 2023 by BCSCL Staff

“Your Constitutional Rights are under Attack”

Our Freedom is slipping away and if enough of us don’t “VOTE” and get involved it is going to be gone before we know it. And that point appears to be very close.

Almost 3 Years ago America had Secure Borders, The Strongest Military on Earth, A Booming Economy with low inflation, Low Gasoline Prices, and we were energy self-sufficient .

We now have a Country with “Crime Without Punishment.” We need to take our Great country back.

Assault Weapons Ban Full House on HR1808

July 26, 2022 by BCSCL Staff

Second Amendment  Supporter

The House Judiciary Committee has ADVANCED a ban on so-called “assault weapons” for a full floor vote in Pelosi’s House. HR-1808   The more Representatives who vote against it in the House, the greater the chances this bill quickly DIES in the Senate…

But if this bill gets strong bipartisan support in the House, Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn could give it serious consideration in the Senate.

That’s why I’m urging you to tell your representative to VOTE NO on HR-1808, banning some of the most commonly owned firearms in America.

Please add your name to our pre-written letter to Congress to STOP the ban on so-called “assault weapons.”

Add your Name

Pelosi’s House has been holding televised, emotion-fueled hearings to instill fear in the American people and justify their crackdown on commonly-owned firearms.  We shouldn’t be surprised to learn that a bunch of people who use the term “assault weapons” turn out to know virtually nothing about guns.

Rep. Cicilline, the congressman who called the Constitution “bulls**t,” claimed that a stabilizing brace is a bump stock that turns a gun into a machine gun.  Rep. McBath doubled down on Cicilline’s absurdity. She stated that gun owners with disabilities like to claim that a stabilizing brace helps provide them with stability, but that they actually want to use the brace to turn their firearm into a machine gun!

And Rep. Hank Johnson – the congressman who once thought an island could capsize in the ocean if too many people stood on it – said that we can’t take “assault weapons” away from government bureaucrats, because bureaucrats need those weapons to protect themselves from “misfits.”

In other words: government leeches have a right to defend themselves, but you’re on your own, Robert.

YOUR God-given right to defend yourself is being decided by a bunch of taxpayer-funded politicians who have private security forces and know virtually NOTHING about guns.

The Supreme Court’s recent Bruen decision reaffirmed that the right to keep and bear arms is not limited to those weapons that were only available in 1791.  Just as we have First Amendment protected speech on computers and cell phones, even though neither of those were around during the ratification of the Bill of Rights, we have a constitutionally protected right to keep and bear modern-day sporting rifles.

But unless we take action, a new “assault weapons” ban could make it through the House and Senate, and land on Joe Biden’s desk.

That’s why we urgently need your help alerting the House to VOTE NO on HR-1808

The fewer votes this “assault weapons” ban gets in the House, the easier it will be to DEFEAT it in the Senate.

Erich Pratt

All Out Assault On Your Second Amendment Rights

August 18, 2019 by BCSCL Staff

Guys and Gals, hate to say this, but we have some bad news for you!

In the wake of the latest mass murders in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, the calls for more gun control have become deafening. It looks as if we’re likely going to end up with some kind of new and additional restrictions on our Right to Keep and Bear Arms, which is becoming less of a right and more of a government privilege. This is unless enough of us push back.

Here are titles of a number of recent articles that give a flavor of the debate:

  • Republican Congressman from Illinois, Adam Kinzinger:  Serious movement brewing to overturn the entire 2nd Amendment.  Article
  • Biden says he’s coming for assault weapons, as 2020 Dems urge new ban in wake of shootings.   Article
  • Judge Andrew Napolitano: Second Amendment bars many gun restrictions being proposed after mass shootings.  Article
  • Trump Pushes Universal Background Checks   Article

These are all on the federal level, which this communication will mainly concentrate on, but it’s just as bad on the state level.

THIS LINK  Opens a PDF that: Will help your understanding of the current push for more gun control and provide a number of pathways to communicate your opposition to additional restrictions on the 2nd Amendment.

  • First a letter from Kim Stolfer, President of Firearms Owners Against Crime with four quick and easy ways that you, as an American gun owner, can make your voice heard.
  • Next, Gun Owners of America provides more information and links to send prewritten letters to President Trump and other Republicans who are abandoning their duty to defend the Constitution.
  • The Lehigh Valley Tea Party’s petition to “Stop Red Flag Laws” adds Pennsylvania State law makers as recipients.
  • Next, a quick review of Saul Alinsky’s 8 steps to create a socialist society. When you read these you should recognize all of them slowly being put into place in the United States.
  • Finally, applications to join two organizations that are working their butts off to resist the loss of our freedom. They need your help.

Please step up to the plate, help to preserve our freedoms now and ensure they can be passed on to the next generation.

November 2017 Pro Gun Voters Guide

November 1, 2017 by BCSCL Staff

Voting in every election is important, the last election was proof of that! We could have had a President that was very anti-2nd Amendment. The last election also proved that your vote does count.

As members of the gun community, we must realize that judicial decisions can greatly impact our rights.  It is vitally important that we exercise our right to vote for judicial candidates and retain those judges who firmly support the 2nd Amendment.

On November 7, 2017, the people will have the right to elect a new PA Supreme Court Justice, appellate judges in the Superior and Commonwealth Courts, 2 new Judges in the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County and the chance to retain several appellate court Judges as well as of the Court of Common Pleas of Beaver County.

Our 2nd Amendment rights and our right to vote are fundamental to our rights as Americans.

Firearm Owners Against Crime has prepared a Voters Guide of recommended judges for election and retention.  We have attached a copy of this Voters Guide for your convenience. Please exercise your right to vote!
