This is a unique organization that focuses not only on shooting, but also on the related camaraderie. The facilities include Skeet, Trap, Sporting Clays and Rifle-Pistol range. The clubhouse may appear utilitarian but is brought to life through the members sharing their mutual enjoyments of Travels, Hunts, Dogs, Shooting, Fine Guns and Fine Food. The informality can be overwhelming to the newcomer. Our low key operation functions on the “honor” system. At the end of the day before departing participants pay for their shooting and deposit a contribution in the “bucket” for food. Revenue derived from the shotgun activities supports the club operation. From time to time raffles are held to supplement the financial needs. The food operation is non-profit; it is sustained through the generosity of the participants both with cash and through the sharing of their hunting, fishing and gardening. Shooting charges are as low as we can get by with. In exchange for the low cost dues and shooting charges, members willingly pitch in when work is to be done. Work days are well attended, productive and fun. This club belongs to the members, who assume their responsibilities seriously, “let someone else do” is not heard. Annual membership is $25.00 per year, with an initiation fee. Trap and Skeet fees are $2.50 per round. The Sporting Clays fee is $3.50. There is no fee for the Archery and Rifle Ranges. For the convenience of the shooters, the club stocks some factory shotgun shells.. We are located off Friel road in Economy Boro.
