The Rochester Sportsmen’s Club is a non-profit corporation established in 1948 located in New Sewickley Township off route 989 behind the Big Knob Fire Hall.
Facilities:
The club has 58 acres mostly forested land. Our clubhouse has been recently renovated and has handicap access including the restrooms. seating capacity for 100 people. There is ample parking available. We have a 48 foot pavilion next to the clubhouse, 2 trap fields, a 100 target walk around Sporting Clay course, a 300 yard rife and pistol shooting range, a 20-30-40 archery range, a 30 target walk around 3D archery course, and dog training pen.
Membership is limited to 325 adult members, 60 lifetime members and junior membership up to 19 (non limit, no minimum age).
Membership year is January 1st to December 31st.
Applications are available at the clubhouse or website.
General membership meeting are held on the last Monday of the month at 7pm. We have a 50/50 drawing, a Gun-A-Month raffle as well as a $1 attendance drawing.
Directors meeting are held on the next to last Monday of the month at 7pm. Members can attend this meeting as well.
Activities:
We have trap practice/inter-mural competition every Wednesday at 6pm which is open to the public.
